My Day-To-Day Photos

 It's breaking my heart that I couldn't be with Jared today. But, Ang is there for a Pink concert,  so I sent up a parcel that included a gift for Jared as well as wired him some cash to have a bit of extra fun. They plan to take a trip to Warp One and then spend some time at Steel Wheels.  I took lunch out to the field and spent an hour and a half on the swather with my Handsome. It helped with all the lonelies. 

 This piece started out as experimental watercolour doodling and turned into a finished piece.

 Todd drove onto the yard this morning and spotted this guy above the century sign.

 On July 6th, we were in Edmonton, cleaning the kids' apartment. Since then, we haven't had a day to ourselves until today. We spent some extra time in bed this morning and then I helped Todd look his best by giving him a haircut. Then, we headed to Regina, where we had a nice lunch and did some shopping. We ate at The Copper Kettle downtown. The cute, huge mugs were our gift to each other. We even went for a half hour walk when we got home. It was a lovely day.

 It has been nearly a month since Jared moved to Edmonton. Todd has been busy at the farm, but nowhere as busy as he's going to be soon, and I'm lonely.  I couldn't handle it yesterday,  so I drove out to see him yesterday.  It helped a lot. 

 It's been too hot most days to be outside except for in the early mornings and evenings.  This picture was taken in the evening. We were watching Dusty play with dragonflies.
