A Lovely Fall Day

Image
Dusty makes it easy to take a beautiful photo.

Noteworthy Sunrise

Image
To do this sunrise any justice,  I should have taken out my DSLR. But, I was in a huge rush to get out there so I wouldn't miss it.

Mark's Travels

Image
Mark's job took him back to Greenwood this week.  He had some time to take a stroll on the beach in Margaretsville.

A Rough Beginning

Image
Harvest has not been going smoothly. It took four long days to get one out of three fields of peas done.  The swather had several breakdowns, including one so bad, we had to go to Regina. Then, on day one of combining wheat, both machines broke down. They had to call "the guy" who, by some miracle,  did manage to get one combine running by early evening.  But, Todd had to drive the other one in this morning. We have no idea when that one will be ready.

Fun with Laura

Image
Laura sent me a picture today asking, "Is this the real dogwood tree?" And I replied, "No. That's the elusive Grassness Monster. Pretty sure." Maybe it's stupid, but oh how we laughed!

2nd Year

Image
Tucker is  very excited about starting his 2nd year of University.  The 2 English summer classes were a success and now it's onto drawing and painting.  There's a history and creative writing class in there as well.
