My Day-To-Day Photos

It turned out to be a beautiful night for a fire. So, supper was a weiner roast with Mark. We stayed out until sometime after 1am. We didn't see any meteors, even the Perseids are nearly at their peak. Mark was able to stay well into the next afternoon before carrying onto Regina to spend some time with friends there before starting his new job in Calgary. He'll only be a day away now, if we decided we want a visit.

If his numbers are correct, Mark had at least 130 kids at his door tonight. We had 6. Vogels with their 3, Quintons with 2 and little Zane Rusnak. It's quarter after 9, so I'm assuming we're done. I'm definitely jealous, but at least our car didn't get hit in a parking lot today.

The most recent past news in the Ostapovitch family, which hasn't been all that recent, and there hasn't been much of it, hasn't been happy news.  After the birth of our 2 children, there was a death, a divorce and in the past year and a half, two more deaths.  Of course, there have been little things here and there, ups and downs.  But for big, earth shattering news, we needed something happy, and last night we got it!  Stephen proposed to Brenda!  She sounded so happy, and I am so excited for her/them, it brought tears to my eyes! On another note, Kaitlynn went to school despite having an upset tummy and she powered through the day.  She wasn't sure she could handle the bus ride home, but she made it. Barely.  She's backed up with homework, but she should have no problem catching up this weekend, even though we have my family's Christmas party tomorrow. I felt like getting out of the house this morning, but I was second guessing my needs, so T...
