Freedom!

I took Bear into the greenhouse and got a good look at his ear.  Everything is healed over very nicely and so off came the cone.  Best cone ever, by the way.  I'm so glad we invested in the Comfy Cone for him.  I know it made life much more bearable (get it?) this past couple of weeks.

The drifts are big in places. Bear likes to play king of the mountain.  It' a great look-out point from up there.

Todd is still plugging away at the island and getting out the bits of linoleum/subfloor out.  He feels confident that we'll start laying the flooring tomorrow.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
