I Like The Pretty Lights

It didn't feel much like winter out there today, which is exactly why the big job of decking out the house with lights got finished today. The wind stayed down (and so did I) while Todd scampered around the roof like a (large, kinda awkward) mountain goat. I enjoyed some time out with my camera - it's nice when you can have bare hands to operate the thing. Now all we need is some light fluffy snow and a bit of frost to compliment his work.







I was lucky enough to capture his good side.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
