An Ending and a New Beginning

 Our sweet Bear passed away on December 11th. His ending was quiet and gentle,  just like he was. 

The very next day, there was an adoption day at Pet Valu. So now we have Fritz.  I knew I couldn't allow myself to dwell on Bear too much, I can't afford to allow myself to sink deeper into depression.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
