Happy 20th Birthday

 Can it really be 20 years since I gave birth to my first child? Time is going beyond fast. Way beyond. I feel as though I've missed something and showed up late to a future that doesn't quite yet make sense. I'll catch up eventually. I hope. 

Happy Birthday to my wonderful kiddo who is making the most of life by being courageous and adventurous, kind and compassionate, daring and creative. May you never lose that spark that drives you.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
