So Long January

 One good thing happened in January, Kaitlynn got accepted into the U of A. We'll find out later, after her portfolio review,  whether she'll go straight into BFA program, or if she'll start in the BA. Other than that rather uplifting moment,  the month passed as it always does for me, slowly. 

Now into February and Jared has reached a challenging spot in his grade 12 year. Calculus is giving him a run for his money and Todd is having to brush up on his skills. Without his Dad and Auntie Loretta, I'm  not sure Jared would be able to stay the course.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
