The Last Grad Party

 We had everyone over on July 20th, and had a nice BBQ for Jared. Loretta gave him towels as well as money to put towards a piano when he gets his own place. Glen, Brenda and Grandma and Grandpa also contributed for a total of $1600. Jared's generous grandparents also invested $5000 into a GIC for him, the same thing they did for KK when she graduated. 

We ended the day with dinner at Arigatos and a game or two of MTG.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
