We had a great trip. Roads were great all the way there and nearly all great on the way back. We spent some time at the University and I took Jay shopping for his 16th birthday. We watch Maquia with Mads, a fantastic Anime. We ate out a little including a dinner at Julio's with Noelle. I did some cooking: buns, cookies and Shepherds pie.

This is a rare occasion. I didn't make my bed as soon as I got out of it this morning. By the time I got to it, Georgie was snuggled under the sheets. Happy as a lark.

Snow Hill!!!

We're nearing the end of winter, but we finally got some snow and it is not too late to play in it. Daddy gets to break in his new snow blower and Jared gets to play "King of the Mountain!" And Mom just takes the photos. It is nice to have something to take a photo of. The landscape has been so very dreary up to this point. The crisp, clean white of the fresh, deep snow is completely refreshing. There is a visible smile on Dad's face as he sees his efforts have paid off...
