My Day-To-Day Photos

Forty-two and forty-four have found us.  It turned okay in the end, but the 6th wasn't exactly a celebration day. It was blamed on the snowfall, but the 7th was when we celebrated my birthday this year.  It was a nice day...buses were not running, so we all went in early for a breakfast at Tim's before dropping KK off at school, then it was Jared's turn. Dad made a nice dinner and then, I suppose having to make for the missed birthday, I got spoiled rotten with gifts for the bath and garden. The 15th was Dad's day, and I tried to make it special with 3 nice meals...it's really too bad I burnt that beautiful bacon. But everything else turned out okay and Dad was able to enjoy a relaxing day at home.  Happy birthdays to us Honey, may we celebrate many, many more together...I love you and I'll make up for that spoiled breakfast very soon...

I would liked to have done this post yesterday on the actual date of my birth, but I was far too busy having plenty of fun.  So here I am, during a Tuesday blizzard that has kept everyone comfy at home.  Kids got to sleep in, no buses, and Todd decided that driving would be stupid. I'm sure everyone at the farm is staying indoors as much as possible, so here we are.  Kids are cleaning their rooms, they can't just have a day off in the middle of the week you know! They will have their piano lessons after lunch too, so it will not be a wasted day.       Anyway, back to the task at hand, my birthday.  Todd took me out to coffee in the morning and we enjoyed a nice visit and treats at Sweet Wanderings.     We wandered around the mall for a bit after that and found ourselves some clothes.  Todd is dire need of new jeans, and I need some cute spring tops. Last year's colors were awful, but I am loving the floral prints ...
