Mini Road Trip
A trip to Regina consumed our Saturday. We delivered 4 boxes of children's books to Brenda, and she gave me a pretty pair of boots that don't fit her. It was a wee bit difficult to leave the books. We've shared so many wonderful, close moments with our children over those books. Brenda sure did seem excited about them and then I received the boots, which take up a lot less space than all those boxes of books.
Then Mr. Handsome dropped us off at the Cornwall where we met up with Auntie Loretta. The kids took off and explored the mall, while we looked for tops. I found two at Eddie Bauer on the clearance racks.
After the mall we headed to the east side where Todd had grabbed a table for us. We enjoyed our lunch there before continuing onto Pier 1 and Winner's. Pier 1 was disappointing, but Home Sense and Winner's were fun. Four shirts, a pretty frame, a table runner and a cast iron bunny all found a new home with us.
For our final treat of the day, we made a quick stop at Le Macaroon. Gosh, golly and gee whiz, I love those tasty little morsels.
I could kick myself. I just didn't think to take photos throughout the day, so since I don't belive in publishing words alone on a blog, I grabbed a pretty one I took of the yard a couple days ago.
