Half Way Through Summer

Kaitlynn has been getting a decent amount of hours and building up her new bank account. Happy for the money, also happy when there is a break in the schedule so as to leave time for friends.

Our garden is producing all sorts of wonderfulness. I don't know if these watermelons will reach maturity, but they sure are cute at the moment.

After reading a book that took place in a French vineyard, I was inspired to put together a meal of cheese and charcuterie. I was missing the crudites, but it was delicious anyway. 

I created this lovely stone pathway to my little garden shed and I just love it. I go visit several times in a day.

While in Saskatoon, we visited a basement shop below the used book store and found "Firefly" the board game. It's going to take a bit to catch on, but it's fun so far!
