Fresh Goodness


  1. It's finally here! Fresh produce from the garden season has arrived. It's yummy time. We've had fresh tomatoes from the greenhouse and a cucumber as well as a few strawberries, but now that there are potatoes, it's official. That's zucchini on the side too, and it looks as though there will be no shortage of that. I'm also harvesting beet leaves, romaine and swiss chard. Next will be peas and beans, then hopefully corn. The corn is looking very healthy.

Demolition Begins

 We're starting upstairs and have spent 3 half days removing the doors and floor boards and talking about what we want to do and the best approach.  Today is the first full day, and we plan to get all the carpet ripped out from upstairs.
