Blizzard and an Outage

A blizzard has kept us indoors all morning and now in the middle of the afternoon, the power has gone out.  

I finally taught Jared how to play chess. Well, I taught him the general rules anyway. The "how to play" will be up to him. Goodness knows I'm not good enough to teach "how" to play.

Georgia and Crush never sit together, but Crush's curiosity got the better of him and he wantes to experience the tent Jared built for Georgia. 

Oh, and no pics, but I took out the stitches from Todd's head. Ick.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
