A Good Day

After the rain last night, Todd was able to take the morning off and come to Yorkton with Jared and I. Jared picked out new frames for his new prescription and we had lunch at A&W.

Towards evening, Kaitlynn called to tell me about a trip she took to Value village and the finds she took home. The big news was a sweater she bought that was torn along the seam. " But, I was able to sew it because I had a Mom that showed me how to sew. So thank you for that." That was a nice moment, and the sort of thing that really brightens things up within me. So, thank you Sweetie, for sharing that with me. God, I'm really starting to miss my girl though. I'll be jumping into the car the moment harvest is wrapped up. At least that is my hope.

The pepper seeds she got me are finally resulting in some produce. And I got this brainwave while watching Home Town to hang up more of her art with mini clothes pins. Worked great! The pictures of the pets are for her as well. To keep her connected to home while she builds her own home.
