The Way To Spend A Rainy Day

 Todd did get to the farm for a bit of clean up and maintenance before the heavy rain came along. Back just after noon, him and I dragged Jared out of the house against his will for bacon samiches at Sweet Wanders. God, how I love that bacon. I actually had a bad dream about them running out of their special bacon, and it was seriously upsetting.

We enjoyed a game in the evening after a relaxing afternoon and finished off Jared's birthday cake. 

We got a lot of rain today, so I don't imagine that tomorrow will be much busier.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
