A Day Well Spent

 When half my day is spent is spent with one of my kiddos, it is a great day. Even though,  physically I felt quite rough, Jared's company brought up my mood enough to make the day downright enjoyable.  We went out for a late brunch - he still likes M&M pancakes. We watched a movie, "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish." And, we took a walk. All of this ate up the afternoon and made my day.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
