Hair Day Etc

 I spent the afternoon reading my new book, "The Covenant of Water" by Abraham Verghese. It's Oprah's latest pick and it's not bad so far.

Jared got his hair trimmed for grad. They took quite a lot off, but it it looks great. 

And we picked up a new scratching post for the kitties.  Dusty loves it.  I'm hoping it will keep him from scratching the sideboard.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
