 It was a hot and muggy morning. It's 2pm now and we are having a very noisy thunderstorm. But it's oddly calm, and I am able to sit on my swing while the rain falls straight down.  I love the overhangs on this house. 

I had quite a bit of leftover soil, so I filled several planters and seeded them with marigolds and nasturtium. I didn't have much luck with it last year, but I can't understand why, so I'm trying again.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
