Happy Father's Day

We decided to go to the grad Sunday church service in Theodore.  The service itself was okay and could've done with less singing. There was a lunch afterwards , as well, and that did not go so smoothly.  Some hitchhiker came downstairs and was acting confrontational.  He really ruined what would have been a nice lunch. Especially,  after he came right up to us and accused us of not liking outsiders. He directed this comment at Jared. Carla Madesen intervened and calmed him with kindness and an offer of food. But, it was not at all nice having him there. We left before anyone else.

The rest of the day was nice though. We took a few photos at the farm because Jared was wearing his suit again. We came and gave Todd a few gifts for Father's day - a Hawaiian style shirt, a movie, some snacks and a new  commander Magic deck, which we had a game of later. We also played Firefly again. And again, I was in the lead, but I couldn't catch a break from the dice, so Jared caught up and won. But, it was so much fun.

I made a steak dinner with rhubarb crisp for dessert.  It didn't really turn out, the dessert that is, but it was delicious. We enjoyed our steaks immensely. Maybe it was because we ate on the patio. There is something so lovely about eating outdoors.

Todd and I took a walk in  the late evening and met one of our neighbor kitties. So friendly.
