Worms an Owl and Goslings

After a downpour a couple of days ago, hundreds of earthworms surfaced. I saved quite a few, but today, there are a lot of dead nermals in the streets.

Otto the owl made an upclose appearance to Todd by perching on the tractor's exhaust.  He's been around the yard all spring.

The rain did a number on our patio, so Todd had a job to do, and it looks perfect again.

Lily of the valley is a sweet little flower, but I don't like how they look growing in the mulch,  so I pulled them all out. Well, broke them off. They'll most likely be back next spring.

The ladyslippers are up and blooming beautifully.  I took 5 of them to Mom and Dad. I imagine them together,  remembering the good times of our childhood.

We took a ride out to the farm, saw some of the crops and the beaver damage Todd has been fighting with. On the way back home,  we saw some goslings by J.C. Beach. It's been a few years since I've seen any.
