I Don't Know Where April Went

Image
May has arrived, and it's been nearly a month since I last posted here. Life hasn't been easy lately, but losing nearly an entire month seems unlikely and unreasonable. The weather has been decent lately, and that has me feeling a little better. I especially love my long morning walks with Bear before breakfast. Often, that's when it's the most peaceful outside, low winds, hardly any vehicles making noise on the roads. Quiet. Also, I've been in my greenhouse lately and that is another of solitude for me. I'll not be buying Miracle Grow again. So it sure was nice to bring all those plants home and today I am enjoying my greenhouse to the fullest. The weather is so beautiful today that Todd and I (and Bear) went out before breakfast to get a load of rocks. We were home by 7:30, the kids weren't even stirring yet. But we'll get them to help with a load later and we'll ta...
