Animal Crossing

I often choose to take the backroad past Hardy's in order to enjoy the trees and hopefully see some wildlife. We had to stop for the stupid chicken or more than likely run it over.  KK couldn't resist, she got out to chase the darn thing, but it was far too fast. It just stuck it's beak out and ran!

The sweetest kitty you could meet turned out not to be a stray, but our neighbor, Christina's cat, Susan. She has the saddest, gurgled sound that is the result of a bad dog bite when she was a kitten.

The moose saying his morning prayers, was seen when I drove quickly to Springside to deliver a forgotten hat to KK. Oy. And of course, I did NOT have my damn camera!

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
