A New Place for a Walk

While on my way back from a stroll to the pond with Bear, Kaitlynn joined up with and asked me to go with her to the "the woods" to check on a coyote carcass she's been keeping an eye on. So we did just that. Bear loved going into the forest!  He was so excited, he didn't what to sniff at next. And oddly enough, we didn't pick up one tick.

That's coyote fur on the end of the stick. We couldn't let Bear get too close, or he might damage the bones.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
