Back To Normal

Jared is now done with play practices for a while, so no more nighttime trips to Yorkton. Everyone is where they should be on a Monday evening, at home, on the couch or in their bedroom. The musical was great though, and we were happy to support Jared in his volunteer work.

I'm starting a new book this evening, the second work I've read by this author. I seem to remember "The Kite Runner" being rather brutal at times, but I remember really liking it. So we'll see if Khaled Hosseini delivers again.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
