Kicking Off Christmas

Ok, now to catch up with what is actually going on at the moment. Christmas has officially taken over our home and we welcome it. There are even several gifts under the tree and most of the stocking stuffers are wrapped thanks to Daddy.  Yesterday, he even got up the rest of the lights and decided to throw them all over the cherry trees. It looks okay, but in comparison to the decorated spruce, it looks sloppy and lazy, though better than nothing.
Four school days left to finish up this week, then another 4 next week, and we'll be chewing up the holidays. I know they are going to go by too quickly, but I'll try not to think of that and just relax and enjoy. Hopefully all is peaceful this year.
On Sunday, we took in the Pipestone Men's Choir.  They sang mostly carols and it was nice to hear male voices.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
