Pre-Christmas Round-Up

There is a lot going on in this post - birthday, recital, goofing off, etc.  All because, I'm not keeping on top of the blogging thing, but all is not lost, it is just congested. I'll have to another post shortly after this one, because as I'm writing this, the house is all decked out and I have not one picture of it yet. Anyway, as you can tell by the photos, life has been good lately.
First of - goofiness, more creepy really...

Shortly after this snowfall, a large snow blower for the tractor was purchased, and then the snow all but disappeared.

Enjoying the new landscape.

The painted snowy spruce I did for our a good portion of our Christmas cards this year.

I figured the blog needed a picture of its photographer here and there,
so here I am sporting a new do.

After Jared finished his Toronto puzzle (I helped a little), we went on a jigsaw spree.
This was the first we did, and we were disappointed to find it was missing a piece.
We were hoping to find in one of the other two, but no luck.

How I would love to live here.

Or here...

Some lovely fresh flowers from my darling, just to brighten up the day.

Family Game... my personal favourite - Ticket To Ride.

Our favourite wine from our winery tours in Nova Scotia last summer,
Mark brought us two bottles at the end of October.

Crushy's sexy pose.

Kaitynn is handing Jesse Brown the music for "Douglas Firs"

She played beautifully.

A few mistakes, Jared has definitely played better at home, but overall it sounded great.

Taking a quick lesson.

Puzzling...
Todd did it all by himself!!!

Happy 15th birthday to our darling daughter. This is an ice cream cake,
the preferred cake of our household now.

Wake up Sweetie - It's your birthday!!!
And you get Corn Flakes.
It turned out to be this gorgeous hoodie you wanted from Dappermouth.
Geez, seems like a lot of gifts...but it turned out to be mostly
new bedding and Pringles.
Your birthday supper - King crab, steak with blue cheese, wild rice, peas and mushroom.

The tree went up on December 7th.

For the second half of Kaitlynn's birthday celebration, she stayed overnight at
Madison's house on the Friday, then we brought Cheyenne into Yorkton, picked
up Kaitlynn and let the girls go do some shopping.  We had supper at the mall and
then headed home for a quiet evening.
