First Fire

Well, The Weather Network delivered.  We had a gorgeous day yesterday.  Twenty degrees in the afternoon, a calm evening and enough wood.  Barely enough, but we scraped by. We will definitely need to do some yard clean-up before we can have another fire.




Angela and Shawn joined us, and we casually enjoyed some wine, chips, hotdogs and smokies, and Angela brought cheesecake bars.  She also brought the music.



I forgot to include this cute wee figure I picked up as a gift for Todd this past week. I wuvs thems...

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
