Another Birthday

On Monday, April 3rd, my little Svester turned 38.  She didn't want to spend her day alone, so we met up in Yorkton for a bit of shopping and some lunch.  We had a ridiculous amount of fun looking at all the cute things out for Spring.
I bought her these garden stakes of the pig and cow.  She adores them.
 
 
 
I bought her the mouse, she bought herself the wee owl.
 
 
 
She bought me the turtle, Cruiser is his name.
 
 
 
It was a gorgeous day, she needed to head home to spend some time on the deck with her puppies and I needed to go make these...chichens on a branch.  I made 4 and I love them.
 
 
 
I also enjoyed the outdoors a bit, I set up the fire pit area and saw my first butterfly.  It really was the perfect day.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
