Harvest Begins

Only a few days of swathing in, and the combines have been pulled out already.  At least one field of wheat is ready, so off they go!
 
Life is going to be awfully quiet around here with Todd in the field and the kiddos back at school on Tuesday. But with lots of cleaning up the yard this time of year, I'm sure I won't feel the loneliness too much.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
