Cuteness and Yum Yums
Going back a little bit here, but at least I'm within the same month. Kaitlynn has several friends, all of which like to get together outside of school. Jared has friends, of course, but getting together isn't something they do very often, so it often feels unfair. But, let's not be feeling sorry for him, because he gets a little spoiled while Kaitlynn is away. Here we are at the mall indulging in something neither of us needs, a dessert croissant. I do not know how they pack so many calories into something that weighs as much as air, and I just picked a 5 pound zucchini that would maybe give 100 calories when cooked in a bit of butter! I can't believe how he dived into this thing and he was in dire need of a sink afterward.
I can never get enough pictures of my sleeping kitties, but when Sooty turns himself upside-down like this and his teeth are sticking out, it's too much cute to ignore.
And pumpkin pie! I could eat this entire thing in under 2 days if it weren't for the other 3 people in this house that love it so much.
We told Jared he was getting an early birthday present and took him into the city for a new bike. Bikes have been considered more of a necessity in this household, so he doesn't know it yet, but he's getting other gifts. I love pulling the wool over my kids eyes and giving them little surprises whenever I can.
Snackers. That's this little guy's name. My Uncle Mike was about to leave after finishing the driveway when he noticed this little wacker under his truck. A full out rescue ensued and it took quite awhile because the wee stinker curled himself up under the back tire and he's a lot smaller than any of our fingers.
Lastly, a lovely view of the pond when the fog was rolling off. I nearly always take the same road, and I am never bored with view.
