Meese
If a goose is a goose and a moose is a moose, and two gooses are geese, then two mooses are meese. But NOOOOO... a goose is a goose; a moose is a moose; two gooses are geese, and two mooses are moose. No sense whatsoever!
There was actually a third young moose to left in this photo, which was taken about 1/2 mile north up the road from our yard. The one not in the photo, hid behind a tree, peeking out occasionally to sneak a glimpse of me. One just continued eating, paying me no mind; that's the one on the left in the photo. The one on the right stared straight at me, curious or defiant, I'm not sure.
I parked the car on the side of the road, turned off the engine and sat there undisturbed for about 10 minutes before they decided they'd had enough of me, and trotted back into the trees, disappearing quickly.
