Kaitlynn's Latest

On Good Friday morning, Kaitlynn had that nasty tooth pulled out of her pallet.  She handled it like a champ!  Like she says, "I'm no weenie!" We all did have a little chuckle out of her when she came out and was a bit loopy.  She could not stop giggling and with gauze shoved in her mouth, it was a strange sight. It's two days after the surgery, and everything is looking good. She enjoyed her Easter breakfast this morning and is looking forward to spending the afternoon with friends tomorrow. She was a little miffed about not being able to spend the night yet, but we feel it's too soon to be partying. Rest is the key to healing, after all.

KK doesn't do much sketching in pencil, but she certainly has the talent for it.

I thought I'd include a snapshot of a note she left for me one evening before school.  I got a chuckle out of it.
