New Rooms

The kiddos picked new colours for their rooms, Jared chose "City Grey" and Kaitlynn went with "Rose Cappuccino." They are both fantastic colours that compliment the rest of the house beautifully.
In a couple of week, they can put their posters and art back up and really enjoy their new spaces.  KK's bedding worked great with her new colour, but Jared's did not and besides, he needed new bedding anyway. Also, he decided to switch his wall unit to the opposite side of the room, so that room really saw the biggest transformation.

 We played games, mostly MTG, but some Carcassonne as well. We ate out a few times, and on Mads' birthday,  we ate at The Old Spaghetti Factory.  I hid little glow-in-the-dark axolotyls all over the apartment.  There are 31 of them to find.

Demolition Begins

 We're starting upstairs and have spent 3 half days removing the doors and floor boards and talking about what we want to do and the best approach.  Today is the first full day, and we plan to get all the carpet ripped out from upstairs.
