Congratuations Kaitlynn!
It is beyond my understanding how the time has passed so quickly and we now have an, (very nearly) adult child.
A young graduate at the age of 17, high school was not particularly difficult for you Kaitlynn, although it had it's moments of frustration. Annoyance at having to do work that was not your first choice was most likely your most difficult hurtle. Also, the year or so before getting your license had it's depressing moments because you so desperately needed your freedom. You were born independent and I knew from early on that there would be trying times in situations where we had no choice but to hold you back. But we made it through as a tightly knit family and so that was my goal. It was always my goal to have a family that loved and supported each other through everything, and if we survived the teenage years, I would consider it a success. Of course, it doesn't end here. No matter where you go kiddo, we will always be here for you.
When the school asked for a formal photo, you came up with the idea that you wanted to create a signature shot that was different and described you in this moment. You are known for your love of Beanie Babies, so out we went with all the wee stuffies and we came out with, what I think, is a wonderful photo.
