Falling Behind

With so much on the go, it's easy to forget to blog.  But at least I'm not forgetting to take the photos.

Jared is learning to mow the lawn.  It would go better if he could figure out it is not a race car.

Uncle Mike was visiting and so here we are starting a project that has bee thought about
6 years, a concrete sidewalk and driveway.  Although, the driveway will have to get
done in August.

There have been plenty of gorgeous mornings for walks.

We decided to celebrate Canada Day by first visiting Ituna, a town I'd never been to before.

One of the nicest small town sculptures I've seen - oats.
Happy Canada Day - the big 150! In the evening we went to the lake for a
Round of mini golf, Auntie Booboo joined us and then at dusk we
went down to the main beach to watch the fireworks.

WTF? And if you knew how much I paid for that!

Yep, I kicked butt!

Well, they weren't professional, but there were a lot, so it was worth tolerating all the bugs.
Jared drew this on his art folder from school.  Speaks volumes.
