Growing To Beat the Band

These are the photos I took two days before we left for the Yukon. It will be interesting to see how much it grows and changes in the two weeks that we're gone. I'm sure that the Blackbirds will have fledged and that will be a relief. I'm getting tired of those birds telling me to get out of my own garden. The cosmos and petunias will change the most in my perennial garden, and of course the pumpkins and gourds will be the most impressive.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
