My July the Fourth

I started out nice and early with a walk to the pond. The sky to the east was welcoming me to the morning with sun rays and interesting clouds. Doggo had his stinky swim, and I have to mention, he lingered in the water long enough that I thought he might have dozed off.
I did a bit of work in my garden and by lunch was on my way to Yorkton with Dear Husband for a bite to eat, but mainly just to pick up KK. She had an absolutely wonderful past two days going first to the beach with her friends and then to the fair. KK was tired but very content.
Then, as with every July the Fourth, we went to celebrate Loretta's birthday, this year being her 51st.
You would think that was the end, but nope. We went home, and shortly after, Stephan was dropped off. We headed to Yorkton a second time to take in the fair. The boys had fun, but it was 'meh' for Todd and I. I was mostly disappointed that the trade show was so pathetic. Oh well. It was still a good change of scenery.
Speaking of scenery, it's time to get busy organising for our trip to the Yukon. We are scheduled to leave on the 15th. That's what's got me really excited!
