I Wish

I wish that all days with homework pass by as easily as today. Both kids came with work to do, and both tackled it without whining and better yet, with some enthusiasm. Kaitlynn got hers out of the way right after school, and Jared took care of his right after dinner. It is only day three of the new school year, and it's almost Friday, and it's been a short week, so maybe it's too much to wish for, but I wish anyway.

Kaitlynn's job was to personalize her Christian Ethics journal.

Jared had an ELA assignment that I didn't quite understand.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
