Fourteen!
Well, I can honestly say that I dropped the ball this year. With all the confusion of having Elise and Ethan here, I planned basically nothing for Jared's special day. Because we had to go to Yorkton to drop off the kids, I was able to take him shopping. He requested homemade pizza and a movie and picked out the new Godzilla. It was pretty fun, but it didn't rile a person up like Pacific Rim. He also requested an angel food cake with chocolate whipped cream frosting. I've convinced him to save it for and evening with the family and so it is currently waiting patiently in the freezer. We did get a cookie dough ice cream cake for the official day. By way of gifts, he got pants. That sucks. I don't know what I was thinking. He also got a longboard which he'd known about for a long time because he accidently stumbled upon it in the trunk of the car. There was also a $20 Steam gift card. Anyway, I felt so bad about his sucky day, that when we got home, I sent him onto Amazon, and I ordered him a new controller for the computer. All in all, it wasn't the worst day, and he had a fun two days having a free-for-all playing video games.
