Autumn Awesomeness

You would think that all the pumpkins and gourds provided by the garden would be enough, but nope. I also love to crochet them and today, for the first time, I made one with the knitting needles. The smallest one here is a little smaller than a golf ball and as cute as a button. The problem is that if the cats find them, they think I made them a toy. But who can resist making wee thingies?  The driftwood I used in this photo is from Tuktoyaktuk and I intend to make a mobile or something with some of it. I collected some rocks from up there too, so it's just to figure out how to build it. It is only seven degrees there (Tuk) at the moment, but it's only 13 here. And it's windy, making what Piglet would call "a blustery day."
Kaitlynn has been at work all day, but we're taking her into Yorkton later to stay with Sophie. So we'll probably end up at DQ.
Jared was busy picking new songs for his Grade 7 year.  He's bucking a little, but nothing we can't handle. He's got plenty of time in his Grade 9 schedule to do another year of piano.
Todd did a bit of work at the farm today, but I guess it's not dry enough to combine as he had hoped, because he is home now and working on getting the shop cleaned up.
I am just doing this and that, the usual - laundry, vacuuming, tidying, blogging, cooking. All good indoor activities. Although, I did brave the chilly day for a short walk with Bear this morning.
