Failed Rescue

After work today while driving home, KK noticed a bird trapped in the old store. It was a Robin and it was frantic. KK tried opening the door, but it felt like it was locked from the inside. I managed to scare the poor thing away from the window in hopes that it would look for another way out. Even if we had got in, I seriously doubt we would have been able to catch it. I hope it finds its way out.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
