Honour Roll

Spent the better part of yesterday afternoon at the Sacred Heart Awards Ceremony. Kaitlynn made the honour roll again, and even though she hated it, she managed to carry herself onstage to receive her certificate.

It is often difficult to convince the kids that they should always bring their best effort into everything they do. It is impossible to give them the future perspective of a job well done. But if we could, they would see that hard work now will help them accomplish whatever they want in the future.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
