Spring Doing Its Thing

It's been busy around here what with all the planting and the watering and the watering and the watering. But we finally saw some rain last night. We got a half inch in our yard, but we were some of the lucky ones as it wasn't widespread. I did get a day off of watering though, and that made for a good day. Did I mention I've been watering a lot?


We really shouldn't be seeing sunflowers yet, but it was hiding in the seedling starter, and so here we are, a tiny, sweet ray of sunshine.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
