An Early Grad Gift

I know. I know. Never make assumptions. But that's exactly what we did here. We're assuming that Kaitlynn is going graduate high school next spring.
Our plan was to get her a spanky new laptop as a grad gift next year. The hope was that my old Sony Vaio would hold up until then, but alas, it did not. Knowing full well that our little digital artist/animator can not live without a computer, Todd found a great deal online and, Voila! - a few days later, a new laptop arrives to a very happy and grateful 16 year old.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
