Happy Father's Day

The day would have been more enjoyable if the star of the show hadn't come down with hives. Benadryl made him sleepy, so the napping was at least mostly against his will. We figured out that it was most likely his recent dose of antibiotics that caused the breakout and today they seem to completely gone. 
I started off the day by making a classic eggs and bacon breakfast. Jared made a cake with a little help and we rounded out the day with Daddy's choice of movie, "Solo" while KK honoured him with a foot rub.

Truck Rides

 I was feeling low, so I headed out to the elevator to ride with Todd.  Somehow,  we missed each other while the truck was still inside,  and he drove off without me. I caught him in the parking lot, though.  Most of the snow has melted. The countryside is in a dreary state, but it's exciting to know that the green is coming soon. I expected to see more water standing and running in the ditches, but it's already gone.
