A Busy Day
The weather has been so gentle on us lately, but yesterday was the best day yet. Todd took down on the rest of the Christmas lights, and cleaned up the cold room. I took Bear for 2 walks and took my sweet time doing my chores and enjoying the heat from the sun. With no wind to steal the warmth, I didn't even need a toque or mitts. The forecast is showing a cooling trend now, but it should still be fairly mild for a week or so. It can't last forever, but then again, neither can the winter.
This morning, Todd and I had to go into Yorkton again to pick up food for our pets. We were just there yesterday to take KK out for her ice-cream treat because she didn't come with us when we went after their piano exam on Tuesday, and both Todd and I forgot what we came in early for. I think what threw us off, was shopping for fabric to recover cushions downstairs. We found great fabrics at Collette's Sewing and I have been working on them this afternoon, eager to get the couches looking nice again, well decent anyway, there really is no hope for those couches.
We also took a bit of time and sorted through the spare room closet downstairs. I decided it was time to part with a few more Bears, but once again it helped to have photos. We finally gave away the bath toys. I have no idea what took us so long. Well, we kept one because Little Monkey still feels attached to his HotWheels set. All in good time. It's nice to have that closet cleaned out and organized.

It's too bad I lost his chef hat, but I have treasured this Bear ever since Diana gave it to me. |

When we were first dating, Todd was living in a Saskatoon apartment not far from Superstore. I was feeling terrible, and so he took a walk for some Midol and came back with this big fella as well. |

It was 20 degrees in the greenhouse yesterday which made me prematurely excited for spring. |
