New Friend

It's been a busy few days.  I've started the Nova Scotia album, (pictures soon to come) and we spent the entire day out of the house yesterday when we drove Ang to Saskatoon. We dropped her off early at 11:30 in the hopes she might get in early, but no. No, not at all.  She was still waiting to hear what the heck was going on at 3:30 and by 4 her surgery was cancelled and she was sent home without even being rebooked.  Although her day was pretty much completely rotten, Todd and I had a fairly enjoyable time.  We ended up finally finding lights for above our island.  I should have a photo, but I don't. Oops. Feeling bad for my poor little svester, I wanted to get her a wee gift to lift her spirits when we went to pick her up.  Todd spotted these cute owl s+p  shakers. She was eager to get home and replace the Corona ones that Shawn has been using for over 20 years.

Kaitlynn wrote her last exam this morning and said it went super smoothly.  Todd picked her up when she was done writing and then they picked up Sophie.  KK wanted to learn how to make baguettes, so that's what we did.  They had a lot of fun with it.
