Creating

While Kaitlynn continues to delight me with her art, Todd and I continue working on our home. It's not forever, but the bathroom flooring and white paint on the walls sure helps to make the tile around the bathtub tolerable. Now, what on earth to with the vanity??? I'm thinking. I'm thinking. I will continue to think. Meanwhile, seriously - look at what Kaitlynn did!

All Sorts of Things

Crush just sat there and stared at Todd for a long time, the after being ignored for too long, the cat turned his back and said, "Two can play at this game." The weather has once again turned mild, so once outside and walking, it's hard to turn around. Bear has been enjoying his sniffing expotitions. Kaitlynn lines her dashboard with Beany Babies whenever she takes the car. Enjoying life, she is. Coming back from Yorkton yesterday, on the Jedburgh grid before crossing 47, we came across a surreal scene of a puppy with a herd of cats. Kind of magical. After deciding to paint the bathroom white and not grey, we went looking for flooring to help complete the transformation, and we found something locally and on-hand at Wagner's. So Yay! I'm excited to see it installed.

Bear, Bingo, and Books

Every time Bear comes into the house, he goes in search of a toy. He usually heads straight to a bedroom and chooses a stuffy. The problem is, we all love our little stuffed animals very much and don't want to lose them to Bear's chewing. We were right to be concerned. Bear has all but destroyed "Puppers" a stuffy I picked up for him at Value Village last week. Though I have to sweep the floor after every visit Bear has with Puppers, I can't complain, because my Doggo is happy. He loves his Puppers and knows it's his very own. I decided on Friday while visiting Mainstreet Meats' grand opening that we were going to play radio Bingo on Saturday night. We did just that.  The jackpot was nine grand. We didn't win, but it was a bit of excitement. Todd, Jared and I enjoyed something out of our ordinary. Now that I have all of our Yukon road trip pictures and embellishments in the album, I have started the process of journaling. There are a lot of little

Finally Feeling Better

Image
Getting sick shortly after New Year's has me a little behind. I still don't feel quite like myself, but I'm far better, and thinking much clearer. I even got all the Yukon photos organized into the album and am ready to start scrapbooking.  It is cold outside, hovering around -40. Bear has been inside A-LOT!  Todd made dinner tonight, and we had porcupines that actually looked like porcupines. Crushie's tale is just too perfect.  Dale sent me a photo of Bonnie's dogs today. I can't believe how well behaved they were for their photo with Santa.  They must still believe!!! Hank (9months), Sadie and Ally
